Although it's perfectly honest work, some prefer to be called Sorcerer or Wizard instead of the rather loaded term "poisoner". Either way, the job is the same: you'll increase your Magic to inflict damage that piles up on the enemy leek until it drags their life points down into the void. Because yes, poison effects stack, so you might as well make the most of it. All the training the enemy leek has done to increase their Resistance to blows won't be of any use to them here.
Nothing will stop poison damage from piling up and striking at the start of the enemy leek's turn...
Nothing... Except maybe time... For Venom it's only three turns, but those three turns will feel like an eternity to your opponent, so imagine when it's seven turns with COVID-19.
Nothing, except maybe this chip... Antidote, or as I call it, Antifun: we're lucky enough to live in a world where leeks are alive and can be gifted with Magic, and military scientists found a way to counter that...
Nothing! Except the smart alecks who cut down their damage, along with their own protections, by casting Liberation on themselves.
Nothing, except those who pump themselves full of meds with Serum or Vaccine to tank the poison damage with heals that kick in automatically right after.
But apart from these few isolated cases, nothing stops poison! Especially since at level 42, your opponents don't have access to all the solutions yet. You'll have a good laugh watching them waste all their TP stacking up protections like the meta pros below level 41, while you're playing poison. This won't be the last time you come across poison: a poison weapon awaits you in the Level 45 tutorial, but Venom is much more effective.
The more Capital Points you spend on Magic, the more your leek will learn about dosing the mixture that makes up the product to be gently pushed down your enemies' throats. Unfortunately, one Restat Potion and your leek will forget everything. You can't stockpile your mixtures: they rot and become edible again. So you have no choice: you can only brew your poison once per turn and throw it in the enemy's face for 4 TP. Your leek's throwing accuracy lets you hit an entity up to a distance of 10, as long as the line of sight is clear.
Which poison will your leek use for its mixture? Venom from vipers, rattlesnakes, king cobras, desert taipans, black mambas, coral snakes, sea snakes (Hydrophiinae), pufferfish glands, fangs of venomous spiders (black widows, tarantulas, brown recluses or banana spiders), stonefish teeth, centipede fangs, Komodo dragon saliva, canned scorpion concentrate, cuttlefish tentacles, blue-ringed octopus glands, marbled cone snail stings, extracts of golden poison frogs in fluorescent yellow, fluorescent blue, fluorescent green or fluorescent rainbow, football fan drool, anemone tentacles, wasp stings, scorpionfish spines, jellyfish or even box jellyfish filaments, striped eel catfish stingers, stingray barbs, fabou venom, concoctions of exotically colored sea slugs, bat saliva, fugu secretions, platypus spurs *?
