Chests are entities that appear randomly during fights. They don't belong to any team, and destroying one rewards its killer with Resources and power. Note: in Chest Hunt, chests are placed at random. They can appear in the Garden as well as in tournaments, and even in BR. However, they never appear in test fights, nor in private group tournaments. A chest gets a turn during which it can use chips. It has no MP and cannot move. However, it is not a static entity, so it can be affected by Inversion, Grapple or Boxing Glove. There are three different types of chests, each with its own characteristics.
Appearance Name Life points Chips Spawn chance Reward value Power reward
Wooden Chest 2,000
1.67% 30,000 10
Iron Chest 5,000
2.5% 300,000 50
Diamond Chest 20,000
0.83% 3,500,000 100
Chests have a 1 in 20 chance of appearing in a fight. There can even be several chests in the same fight!
Chest type Life TP Strength Wisdom Agility Resistance
2000 20 500 200 200 0
5000 20 1000 500 200 500
20000 20 2000 1000 200 1000
Thanks to the persistence of our dear Nytope, the chest AI was deciphered in this topic. Here is a summary:
In a challenge fight (not a test fight), you can reuse the seed of a fight in which a chest appeared. That way, you can improve how your leeks behave against these curiosities!
To see chests in action, here are some example fights:
Wooden Chest Iron Chest Diamond Chest
That's all well and good, but how do you interact with them in your code?
It's quite simple: you need 3 basic functions, available in LeekScript: getAliveEnemies(), getType() and getChestType().
