About this chip

This chip lets you push other leeks. A leek that isn't in your line of fire? Push it with a good punch from the boxing glove so you can shoot without having to move! An ally in danger? No problem, that's what the boxing glove is for: push them onto a safe cell. On the other hand, you'll need a Grapple to bring the entity back if you ever push it too far! 😉

If you have an Explorer's Rifle and another entity pushes you with the Boxing Glove or pulls you with the Grapple, you gain MP.

It can be used many times, for only 3 TP (like the Grapple). The only tricky part: aiming correctly behind the entity you want to push (the first entity on the line).

Doesn't work on obstacles. Doesn't work on static objects, such as Turrets (you can check with the isStatic function). However, you can still push your opponents into the turret's attack range!

Using the chip

Lost about how to use this chip? No problem, we'll help you out.

For this, you use the useChipOnCell function. All you have to do is choose the target cell (where you'll push the first entity on the line along which you used the Boxing Glove).

To push the first entity on the line to the cell targetCell:

This is a very basic use that doesn't take anything into account (the range, whether there is an entity on the line you're aiming along, whether the cell you're aiming at is an obstacle...). You can't push through an obstacle or through another entity, and you can't push several entities at once either. To check whether an entity is on the same line as you, you can use isOnSameLine.

Example: Mover wants to push Domingo (who is on the red cell) to the blue cell.

So the right way to use the chip is

and not

So be sure to target a cell behind the entity you want to push!

Your turn! Happy coding with the Boxing Glove chip!
