Liberation Level 59

The Liberation chip has a unique effect in Leek Wars. When used on an entity, it reduces the value of the active effects on the target by 40%.

So in one go, it can weaken every effect on an entity:

• The buffs on the target
• Its relative and absolute shields, as well as its vulnerability
• Shackles
• Poison
• The strength of the start-of-turn healing given by the Vaccine chip

You will usually cast it on the enemy (to strip their armor and boosts), but against a magic build it can be worth casting it on yourself (or an ally) to reduce the shackles you have suffered and lower the life lost to poison.

Because of the very nature of its effect, none of the caster's characteristics have any influence on the Liberation chip's effect. Critical hits increase the reduction of the effects to 52%.
