Some chips have an effect influenced by the number of entities hit. The effect [per target hit] is multiplicative, i.e., In other words, if we don't touch anyone, it's useless. The more entities you hit, the more it's worth using the chip.
Restrictions on only enemy targets being counted by the target count gain concern the Covetousness, Vampirization and Precipitation chips.
Adding allies to the area for Plasma can allow you to deal more damage (including to allies). Be careful to take into account the damage return of each entity for the damage multiplied by the number of targets hit.
