Components are new items that arrived with the 2.40 update of Leek Wars. Leeks can equip up to 8 of them (fewer if they use recovery components, see below). They improve the leeks' characteristics to make them stronger.
Some components are basic and give small bonuses: they are fairly easy to craft and don't need many resources. Others give bigger bonuses, but are harder to craft as a result.
The characteristics given by components add up with your base characteristics and with those bought with capital points. They are not taken into account when calculating the capital cost of characteristics. For example, if your components give you +5 TP, buying your first TP with capital points still costs 30 (the initial cost).
> Note: > You cannot equip the same component more than once on the same leek.
Since the Leek Wars 3.00 update, components can also be upgraded to increase their characteristics.
There are 2 of them, and they were given to all existing leeks during the update. They are not given to new leeks! Here they are:
Recovery RAM

Gives: 14 RAM ,which brings you to 20 RAM (counting your 6 base RAM), so you can equip up to 20 chips on your leek.
Gives: 19 Cores ,for a total of 20 with the one you start with, giving your AI access to 20 million Operations.
Be careful: besides taking up a slot, these 2 components also reduce the number of components you can equip on your leek. They count as 3 slots each. They were introduced to give you time to farm the other component recipes and the resources needed to craft them.
There are about fifty of them. Their recipes (in the form of diagrams) can drop in any fight, whether it's a boss, farmer, solo, team or battle royale fight. Some components won't be used to improve your leek, only to craft other components.
**Level 1: Restat Potion** Lets you reset the capital invested in your leeks. Resources needed to craft: 1 Carnelian, 1 Topaz, 50 Sand, 5 Leek juice, 5 Sea water, 1 Aquamarine, 1 Amazonite Tip: This potion can also be bought at the Market for Habs, which is often a much better deal given how rare the resources needed to craft it are.
