Components
Components are new items which appeared with the 2.40 update on Leek Wars. Your leeks can equip up to 8 (less if they use recovery components, see under) different components. These will enhance their caracteristics to make them stronger.
Some components are really basic and only give a small buff, they are really simple to craft and don't need many resources, whereas others give a stronger buff but are harder to craft.
Components caracteristics are added to your leek's base caracteristics. They aren't taken into account in the calculation of the cost in capital points of each caracteristic. For example, if your components give you +5TP, investing in another TP in capital points will cost 30 (the initial cost).
We can distinguish 2 component types :
Recovery Components
They exist in 2 version and were given to all existing leeks during the update. They aren't given to new leeks ! We have :
Gives : 14 RAM , which lets you have 20 RAM (with the 6 base RAM) and as such, you are able to equip up to 20 chips on your leek.
Gives : 19 Cores , which lets you have 20 cores (with the base one) and as such, you are able to use up to 20 million Operations in your AI.
Warning : these 2 components, in addition to using a slot, also reduce the number of components you can equip on your leek. They each use 3 slots. They were added to let you farm the components recipes and the needed ressources to craft them.
Components
There are around 60 different components. Their crafts (under the form of diagrams) are obtainable in any fight. Some components will not be used to enhance your leek, but simply to craft other components.
**Level 1 : Restat Potion** Lets you reset the capital you invested in your leeks. Needed ressources to craft : 1 Cornaline, 1 Topaz, 50 Sand, 5 Leek Juice, 5 Sea water, 1 Aquamarine, 1 Amazonite Advice : This potion can also be bought in the Market for habs, which usually is a lot better due to the rarity of the needed ressources to craft it.
Level 1 : Sea Water Used in other crafts Needed ressources to craft (produces 12 Sea Water) : 10 Ice Cube, 1 Salt
Level 1 : Sand Used in other crafts Needed ressources to craft : 4 Rock, 4 Pebble
Level 1 : Salt Used in other crafts Needed ressources to craft : 9 Sea Water Advice : Sea Water is precious due to its heavy use in some crafts. Be careful when crafting this !
Level 5 : Apple Adds : 100 Needed ressources to craft : 1 Leaf, 5 Branch, 4 Ice cube
