In Leek Wars, you play as a Leek farmer. When you sign up, you get a level 1 leek. The goal is to fight other leeks by developing your leek's artificial intelligence (AI) with the LeekScript language.

These Fights earn you experience so you can level up. Levels give you access to a bigger arsenal of Weapons and Chips. You also get 5 capital points per level (50 at levels 100, 200 and 300, and 100 at level 301), which you can spend to improve your leek's characteristics.

Later on, you can have up to 4 leeks, under the following conditions:

• 1st leek: unlocked when you sign up
• 2nd leek: 10,000 Habs, 1st leek at level 50.
• 3rd leek: 100,000 Habs, 1st leek at level 100 and 2nd leek at level 50.
• 4th leek: 1,000,000 Habs, 1st leek at level 150, 2nd leek at level 100 and 3rd leek at level 50.

Note: 1st, 2nd and 3rd refer to the order in which the leeks were created.
