Presentation of the chip ---
Tranquilizer is the first hindrance in the game. It is a TP hindrance: this chip allows you to remove turn points from the target. Like all impediments, it is affected by the caster's magic. Also note that this chip has no cooldown: you can cast it multiple times per turn.

You must have noticed that this chip removes little TP: between 0.3 and 0.4. In reality, the game only deals with integer values of TP, and so the number of TP removed by the chip is always rounded up. So if your leek has no magic, this chip will still take away 0 TP, i.e. it will do nothing. To find out how many TPs will be removed depending on the caster's magic, you can refer to the following table: Magic | Amount of TP removed -------------|------------- under 24 | 0 25 to 66 | 0 or 1 67 to 274 | 1 275 to 399 | 1 or 2 400 to 524 | 2 525 to 733 | 2 or 3 734 to 774 | 3 775 to 960 | 3 or 4
When the table says "1 or 2" (for example), the higher the caster's Magic value, the higher the chance of rolling 2 rather than 1.
You could try to use this chip on a summoner to deprive him of the TPs necessary to summon the bulbs.
