Just as Bark is only useful for a Metallic Bulb, the idea is to boost the bulb's specialty. Is it worth it in the current meta?... That's for you to decide. Still, giving your bulbs a collar is a lovely gesture on your part.

To make the most of this chip, you need to follow the strategy of keeping an armada of bulbs to overwhelm your opponent by sheer numbers. Before using this chip, I'd advise you, without ever ordering you around, to make your bulbs able to withstand a few attacks with the Loam and Fertilizer chips.
