Laser
L.A.S.E.R. introduces a new kind of AoE : Lasers.
When you use a laser weapon, you aim at a target but in truth what happens is that you shoot in a specific direction. The cells that will be affected depends of the range of this weapon.
Indeed, a laser with damage any entity it will go through on its path and stops either on an obstable or when it reaches the ultimate cell of its range. So you need to be careful with your allies!
Let's imagine a laser with a range : 2 to 7. It will not affect the cell in front of you, but it will burn any entity on the cells distant of 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 in that direction.
This example is descibed in the image below :
Note: the first cell has to be empty. If there is an obstacle or an alive entity on it the shot will not be possible. Also, shooting cell 3 will produce the same beam as shooting on cell number 2. In both cases if there is an obstacle on cell 5, the shot will stop there.
Lasers are not subject to the same distance restriction as regular AOEs. No matter the distance, the damage will be the same.
